Bold and Tangy BBQ Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 8 softened pitted dates 5 if Medjool dates
  • 1 can tomato paste 6oz
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 Tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp liquid aminos or salt to taste optional
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper optional

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend on high until smooth.
  • Make about 1 pint
  • Store in refrigerator.
